Narrative- two worlds

The key concept of the animation is creating two worlds that corresponds to each other. The first world is the conceptual world which is constructed by a giant clock floating on the sea, representing the time, system and also nature. All the gears keep running showing the flow of time and how everything work under one system. the camera firstly zooms on one part of the clock and then zoom out and looking at the over view of the clock. The camera will then move around the clock. then one gear on the clock falls off and roll into the sea slowly. and suddenly the world changes in to the second world, which is the real world that we live in. An overall view of the Sydney city will show up at the beginning. then the gear that fell off from the clock will duplicates into millions and then fly through the city, at the same time, the city will decompose and turn into ashes. after that, the gears then will form the city in their own way and form. After the exchange with the buildings, the physical world, the gears will then take place of the human. one scene will show that gears get into the building and creating the form of human. however, instead of rebuild human, the gears will just use their shadow to form the shadow of human. A chaotic city then may show up showing how a very systemic element can bring the chaos and how the composting parts decomposes the original existence. To conclude the idea is to show the contrast of the composting and systemic element and the result that it can bring when it enters a new system.

150 words for Ass 3w

The concept of the final video will incorporate 3d content and real world content to show the construction and deconstruction of the architectural world and what can be formed by the parts.

The idea is to see the world in small fragments and how they can be the important parts of the systematical world. The actual real world may be symbolized as a world that structured by clockworks, which show s that the systematic feature of the world. However, the video will break the world into pieces so the world will bedeconstructed. the fragments then can be combined and form different function parts from their original uses. Incorporating 3d content in real life to show that virtual reality can almost mimic reality, the video will compile of 3d content replacing real content to identify that people are relying on technology for everyday use.

Assignment 2 - Narrative

As named Archnature, the key concept of the video is to show the relationship between nature and architectural machine and environment. Basically, the video is showing from the perspective of an architect who develops his idea of the transformation from nature to architecture through drawings. I used stop motion animation to show the the gradual transformation and the slow change within an architect's heart. The idea of the video is to show the visualization and perspective from a human, or an architect of a the inter-relationship between nature and architecture.
